so the guys left early this morning to go to some artists meeting thing. not really sure what it was, but apparently batman sent one of his vehicles to get them. this thing was insane.

once the guys got back, they had soundcheck and worked on some more songs from the new record. 'hello hurricane' is quickly becoming one of my new favorites live.

the show tonight was honestly probably one of the best switchfoot shows i've seen in a long time. the crowd was so energetic and seemed to sing along even to the new songs they hadn't even heard yet! one of the highlights was singing happy birthday to our dear friend jerome. he even got a cake delivered on stage to him. party.

afterwards, there was quite the mob out by the bus and jon and the guys went out and talked to as many people as they could. such a fun day north of the border.

then of course there was the obligatory post-show 'waiting until we hit the US border' bus dance party. dj drew was on the ipod 1s and 2s and was laying it down. a few of drew's dance party staples: justice, jamie lidell, and junior senior. welcome back to america.
