the tour has begun. it's been a long time coming, but it is finally here. i seriously am really excited for all of you guys to come check it out. All the guys in Ruth and Relient K are great, and the Switchfoot show is better than ever.

the guys had some very very early morning visits to radio stations in the area, and then it was back to the venue. there was a mall across the street so everybody seemed to make a run or 2 over there to get the stuff they forget at home. or, at least, i did that.

the show tonight was awesome. it was the first show of the tour, so i wasn't too sure how it would go, but those pre-production days totally paid off, because everything came out pretty amazing. the end of dirty second hands is seriously insane.

seeing as we were in west virginia, in lieu of jon singing a song dedicated to the place we were in, everyone (including native west virginian chris beaty) gathered 'round the proverbial campfire and sung john denver's 'take me home country roads'. it was pretty fresh.
