midland, texas.
our first of a few shows in texas in the next few weeks, midland's 'rock the desert' festival is usually a pretty fun one to be at. last year here we all sat around in the dressing room watching the olympics, and this year we sat around watching action movies all day. it was good times. the guys switched up their walk-in music tonight to some explosions in the sky, in honor of friday night lights and west texas. so good.

I have to agree with the comments already posted. I have been amazed at how professional and just plain cool the daily foot videos are. It makes you want to see the band or hear the finished CD NOW!!!! GREAT JOB, ANDY!!!!!

The concert was Amazing!!!! Our youth are still talking about Rock the Desert and Switchfoot. What a blessing! We are counting the days until Hello Hurricane.
I'll try to make this short, but I want ya'll to know how much your "This is your life" song means to me. I felt the Lord leading me back to college to finish what He started in me so many years ago...and your song seemed to be one of the confirmations that He used. I did go back to school, graduate summa cum laude (thank you Lord) and will be teaching high schoolers this year.
I did a little makeover in my classroom and used your song as one of my favorite inspirational quotes to paint on the wall. I can't wait to see how God uses this in the classroom. I posted pictures of my room in today's blog post. Blessings to you.
